Stained glass windows in the gothic crypt of Liebfrauenkirche in Kitzbühel

New-Production

Liebfrauenkirche, Kitzbühel

The windows were created in the course of the restoration of the crypt in the Liebfrauenkirche Kitzbühel, which was previously hardly usable. Due to the previously windowless wall openings, there were no clear templates for the design of the new windows.
This gave rise to the idea of taking up formal elements from Gothic architecture such as the trefoil, the quatrefoil, the pointed arch, or the fish bubble (DE) and integrating them into the historical space in a restrained manner.
