Glass Geometry

Crystalis V

Crystalis is a series of works in which driftwood is encased in geometric glass architectures. The artworks are inspired by the idea of occupying natural habitats with digitally constructed chrysalis.
The installations operate in the fields of tension between technology and ecology as well as digitality and the analogue.

After computer modelling the geometric structures on the basis of 3D scans of the driftwood, all glass fragments were cut and glued together.
