Fallen Tree Section

The work is part of an ongoing and experimental series of digital works that move in the fields of tension between technology and ecology as well as digitality and the analogue.
Fallen Tree Section was part of the solo exhibitions eSxCpIerEieNnCcEe at Bäckerei Kulturbackstube (2018) and Below the Surface Is Another Surface at Galerie Plattform 6020 (2023).
The production process for Fallen Tree Section began with a 3D model of a leafless tree. In the exhibition context, the representation turned out to be an associative surface for viewers who recognised migration routes of birds, nerve fibres, fascia, microorganisms or a hand in it.
